Google thinks American women are fat

If Google search results and the order in which they appear really do represent something like a world - or web - opinion (and for the sake of argument, let's assume that they do), than this is a brilliant way of discovering national stereotypes.

From the ever-interesting Google Blogoscoped:

I searched for [nationality] woman and [nationality] man, where “nationality” is e.g. French, Swedish, Turkish, Chinese and so on. The result is a visual overview of country stereotypes.
